2008 Four Oaks Stables Camp

The summer camps will be held from 9am-2pm Monday through Friday for $225.00 ($25.00 discount for current students riding at Four Oaks Stables). You will be able to drop your kids off at the farm at 9am and pick them up at 2 or 4pm for an additional $75.00/week and a liability release form will need to be signed the first day. They need to bring a lunch, plenty of water, snacks, sun block, bathing suit, towel, and any type of riding gear they have. They will ride at least once a day and most often twice. At the camp the students will learn horse breeds, color and type of horse. They will also learn first aid, different riding styles, how to groom and bathe a horse, pretty much anything and everything about the horse and the barn. We require that your child wear a pair of boots at all times when around the horses and the barn. Attached is the description of each camp so you can decide which one is best for your child.

**Instructor Wendy Graham or Elizabeth Brauns has the right to cancel weeks, change or combine camps as needed. A $50.00 deposit (non-refundable) to hold your spot is required one week prior to camp, first come first serve.**
2008 Four Oaks Stables Camps




(Beginner Camp)

This camp is for children who are just beginning to ride. It is also for children who can walk and trot on their own and tack up on their own too. They will learn how to brush, tack up their horses, walk, and trot on their own.

(Intermediate Camp)

This camp is for children who can walk, and trot on their own. It is also for children who are learning how to do small jumps and canter. This camp is to allow your kid to get a better balanced seat, and to learn new things.

(Advanced Camp)

This camp is for children who can walk, trot, canter and jump on their own. This is going to be for
your child to maintain a balanced seat at every gait and to jump correctly. They will learn how to jump at different angles, ride out of stride, etc. It is a more difficult and hard camp.
